Remotebnb is a soft clone of Airbnb. With recent events, many people have found themselves working remotely. Remotebnb wants to provide a service where remote workers can find cool new places to work.
Who I am
My fascination with technology started at a young age with an interest in science fiction. 🖖 Every other Sunday my uncle would take me to the hobby shop where we'd pick up a Gundam (🤖) model and build it together.👷🏽♀️ I vividly remember taking the pieces and connecting them until they made a single component of the Gundam. 🔧 Each component would then fit into another, and soon all of these little parts would form the complete model. ⚙️
Coding is like taking those little pieces, and using them to create bigger ones that click together to build your perfect application. 💎✨
My first step in the tech space was at a successful startup in the San Francisco Bay Area in a non-technical role. 👩🏽💻 I learned quickly and was soon promoted to the technical solutions team where I worked in parallel with brilliant software engineers. ⭐️ We moved fast with precise solutions to our client's obstacles and had fun while doing it. I was hooked, and made it my life's mission to learn how to code. 💫
I was able to fulfill this dream after developing confidence and experience by excelling in people centric industries like hospitality ⛩ and the dental field 🦷. I am highly attuned to details and value building technology that is interesting, intuitive, and impactful. 🎯
